Mom’s Meatloaf (made with Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix)

Ingredients:

    BloodShot Bloody Mary Mix
  • 2 Lbs Ground Beef
  • ½ Lb. Ground Pork (or ½ Lb of Italian Sausage)
  • ¼ Cup of Cracker Crumbs (or ½ Cup of Oatmeal)
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup of Milk
  • ½ Tsp Minced Garlic
  • ½ Small Green Pepper
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • ½ Tsp Crushed Italian Seasonings
  • ½ Tsp Celery Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Parsley Flakes
  • 12 Oz of Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix

Directions:

  • In a small mixing bowl, stir together the eggs and the milk. Chop the green pepper and onion very fine. In a separate bowl, add the pepper and onion and all other ingredients, except for the Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix, to another bowl. Slowly add the eggs/milk mixture, making sure you knead in thoroughly. After it’s mixed thoroughly, add 6 oz. of Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix and knead again. Leave the remainder of the Bloodshot (6 oz.) to top the meatloaf half way through baking. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until done.

Bloodshot Chili (made with Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 Cans Chili Beans
  • 3 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ Tsp Cumin
  • ¼ Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Bottle of Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix

Directions:

  • Dice Onion and Green Pepper
  • Brown the meat lightly and drain off grease
  • Add onions, green pepper, chili powder, pepper, cumin and garlic. Mix thoroughly.
  • When onions are clear, add remaining ingredients except the chili beans. Stir until well blended. Let simmer slowly for 2 hours.
  • Drain the liquid from the chili beans. Add the beans after 2 hours, and then lightly simmer for one more hour. (Water may be added any time for the desired consistency).

Bloodshot Stew (made with Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lb Stew Meat
  • 1 Cup Celery, Chopped
  • 1 Small Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Cup Carrots, Chopped
  • Mixed Vegetables, Can or Frozen.
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Minute Tapioca
  • 2 Cups or More Bloodshot Mix

Directions:

  • Mix ingredients in a roaster pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Stew will thicken as it cooks; More Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix can be added for desired consistency. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.

Bloodshot Jambalaya (made with Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 ½ Cups Diced Cooked Ham
  • 1 Cup Chopped Onion (1 Large Onion)
  • ¾ Cup Finely Diced Celery
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper (Seeded an Julienned)
  • 1 Clove of Garlic, Minced
  • ¾ Cup of Uncooked Rice
  • 2 Cups of Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix
  • 1 Cup Chopped Cooked Chicken
  • 1 ½ cups Fresh Chicken Stock
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • ¼ Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/8 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

Directions:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook ham, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic until the onion is soft but not brown, 5 minutes or so. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Lower the heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring once or twice. Be sure your rice is well cooked before serving.

Bloodshot Baked Beans (made with Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cans Bush’s Baked Beans (28 oz can)-any Variety
  • 1 Tsp Prepared Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup of Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix

Directions:

  • Partially drain cans of beans and add to casserole dish. Add mustard, brown sugar and Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix. Bake covered in 350 degrees oven for 50 minutes. Uncover for last 10 minutes to thicken.

Bloodshot Martini (made with Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Oz Vodka, Chilled.
  • 2 Tbsp Clam Juice
  • 2 oz. Bloodshot Bloody Mary Mix
  • ½ oz Dry Vermouth
  • Generous Squeeze of Lemon
  • 2 tbsp Olive Juice
  • Lemon Twists Around Rim

Directions:

  • Fill Martini Shaker With Ice.
  • Add all Ingredients to Shaker
  • Shake and Quickly Strain into a Chilled Martini Glass.
  • Garnish with lemon twist.
